I also got a new touchbar macbook pro, but i'm not using izotope or Arturia, externally only a couple of synths offered with Akai controllers, Kontakt 5 and some Waves. Everything working perfectly, not a single crash so far... probably those need some updates to fix the issue, It would be a good idea to email Arturia and Izotope to report the issue. Cheers, s

It's curious, since first beta El Capitan i'm using, no problems with any of the plug ins i use. My only NI plug in is Kontakt but never had issues.

Thank you David, just checked and seems to be fine... I found something new...the producer kit appears in one way, but only this one, opening an empty Software Instrument channel and opening Library - Drum Kit - Producer Kits. They appear through here. I usually don't use this library tab... Anyway, could be some issue related with El Capitan beta, which i am using.

How can i check the permissions on that folder? Making sure you can read and write? Cheers, S.

It's weird, my producer kit folder appears empty if i search in Finder inside Logic, but if i go through OS browser, the Kits are there...can't find a solution to access them...

Thank you David, I checked in the Finder and the Producer Kits are there in fact, but they don't show up inside Logic. Anyway to solve this? Do you think this random disappear of it should be in the Bugs section? I know there is no steps to expose the situation but still... Cheers, S.

Very weird, for some reason, doing the update through the Purchased tab worked, but not through the Updates...it was cancelling everytime i changed view... Anyway, not exactly a Mainstage issue. Sorry

I just notice that the "+" versions (Producer kit) sounds of my Drum Kit designer totally disappeared. I checked and it is installed, but nothing in the list! Can anyone help me?

you can also sequence your own rhythms with drummer sounds as you would do with Ultrabeat. Just open the Drum Kit Designer in a Software Instrument track and create a midi region to start doing it. Hope it helps. Cheers, S.

Well, in my opinion, i don't think the graphical improvements are felt in Logic in particular but in the OS in general. It feels so much snappier here. Indirectly, might affect Logic

Delete user preferences To delete the user preferences, do the following: Quit Logic Pro X if it is running. In the Finder, choose "Go to Folder" from the Go menu. Type ~/Library/Preferences in the field and click Go. Remove the "com.apple.logic10.plist" file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you've programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You might want to export your custom key commands before performing this step. See Browse, import, and save key commands for details on how to do this. If you upgraded from an earlier version of Logic Pro, also remove the "com.apple.logic.pro" file. Restart the computer. After following these steps, try to reproduce the issue you were experiencing with the default preferences. If the issue is resolved, reset your preferences to the way were before and then test again.

I think you will be happy, my 2010 macbook pro works much better now

Hi, i have exactly the same versions as you, everything works fine here... I suggest trying to trash preferences, i had some issues recently when updated to 10.2 (no problems with Kontakt though) and it solved.
