Bass Station Plug-in wont work

Hi Guys, I am new to logic and have recently purchased a Novation SL 61 MKII. Bass station was shipped with the Novation and i have installed it on my mac and logic 9.1.6 is saying that it is validated but it does not show up under the audio units in the inserts menu. I am running OSX Lion on a late 2011 iMac and all software is up to date. Any ideas? Cheers Steve
