I should also note that the Axiom no longer shows up under Control Surfaces>Setup any longer.

I haven't been on the forum in a while (looks great now btw!) but i came here this evening with the exact same issue. I cannot for the life of me get the Axiom 49 2nd gen to automatically map to smart controls as per the 10.2 update. Its driving me bonkers. Things I've tried: Resting the Axiom by holding +/- at power up Trying to change patches Trying to edit assignments... I keep getting a message to "set Axiom to preset1" whenever I go to General>Notifications>Reset Warnings. I would love to figure this out since having to always remap controls is such workflow destroyer. I just found out about that feature in the update today. Hope someone can help. Not to jump all over you thread OP, just figured I'd recount it here instead of posting another thread about the same issue... PS. Keyboard and transport controls all work as expected. Its knobs and faders I want... I'm on 10.2.4 now as well and OS X 10.10.5

That's good to know, David. I'll try it again on another project. This particular project has been a little glitchy (not recording take folders properly, etc) It could be a specific issue with this one. I'll report back after I try it and we'll know if it's a project-specific bug. Thanks again!

Sorry I wasn't clear. I did turn them off but it had no effect and I was still getting the option to export 101 tracks rather than 59. It wasn't until I deleted all the tracks that the export option was showing 59 tracks.

Thanks, David. Unfortunately the Show On/Off didn't correct it but I deleted the hidden tracks (since it's an alternative of a project) and now I'm down to the proper 57 tracks.

Sorry if this has been covered. I'm trying to export stems as wav files to put into protools, which I have never done. I have 59 tracks in my main window (all audio files) but when I select File>Export>...It says "Export 101 tracks as audio files". Is this due to hidden tracks? I know I'm missing something simple. Also to tag on, is there a way to quickly delete all muted/hidden tracks? This export function will start all files at 1.1.1.1 even if the regions don't necessarily start there in the project, right? Thanks in advance.

Sorry it took so long to get back about this. Take folder behavior seems normal in new projects. Is there a way to correct it in the existing one that is not behaving properly? Maybe some sort of presences file I could trash? Thanks.

Hey all. I am having an issue where I can't get take folders to behave properly. I set a cycle and record and then it just replaces each take. I have it set in Settings>Recording to have take folders but it doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

Wow, David. That looks pretty rad. I can use that with ANY instrument and regions I create? I never delve into the environment so I have no idea how to implement it. Is it still compatible with 10.2? I can post on the other thread if that is better. As for the original inquiry, there is no way to route midi from one track to another and record the incoming midi information? I know it can be done via the midi effect plugins and and iac buss but that method doesn't work for ultrabeat. Thanks so much!

Hi David. Thanks for responding. I'm aware of that function. What I want is to get access to the midi that I play in pattern mode. If I use "toggle" I can switch patterns at different times and combine them in ways that would take a long time by dragging patterns in and then rearranging/chopping them up. Does that make sense? When I perform in pattern mode I get a region of midi notes ranging from c-1 up to c-0 if I have 12 patterns. I want to see the actual midi notes laid out from c1 and up as if I were to use the drag pattern function. Thanks again.
