  1. Plz disregard. The problem was with me, not logic.
  2. Hi, Why doesn't bounce represent what I have in the arrange? When I play back, I hear one thing, and when I playback the bounce I hear another. There are mainly problems with panning. Any ideas? Thanks.
  3. Hi, Pretty straightforward. I have a track highlighted, I'm hitting delete, and nothing happens. Usually, the regions within the track will get deleted and then the track will get deleted. Now, I just get the "not a valid command" flash. Super frustrating. What gives? Thanks.
  4. I forgot to add transient markers - thought it'd find them on the fly. Thanks for the tip!
  5. Hi, Logic quits whenever I try to use the "move anchor to next transient" command. I'm doing this on audio regions. When I do it with a region highlighted in the arrange, I get the "that's not a valid command" blink and my CPU shoots up. When I try to do it in the sample editor, Logic quits. Any ideas? Thx.
  6. Nailed it! Thanks guys. That was driving me nuts. orz
  7. Sorry for the crappy title. I pressed a button and by accident a black line appeared between channel and pitch (the same can happen between pitch and velocity). What function does this have? Thanks!
  8. Hi guys, Thanks for responding. David- is cycle mode what you toggle by hitting 'c'? If so, I don't think either thing you guys mentioned is what's causing the problem. In the screenshot I posted, my playhead alternates between the beginning of the session and bar 4. Cycle mode isn't select (if that's referring to what I'm talking about. If it is, you can tell because there's no green bar) and there's no marquee selection. What do you think? Thank you.
  9. Hi, My return key is acting strangely. Usually, when I hit return it brings the playhead to the beginning of the session. Now, when I hit return it alternates between the beginning of the session and some random point. Hitting return and ending up at some random point in the session is frustrating and disorienting. I've searched online but can't find a fix. Anyone know what setting I screwed up/how to fix this??? Thanks! John
  10. Makes sense. Thx for the fast reply! I had a feeling it was impossible but was worth a shot
  11. Hi, I'm wondering if there is a hotkey to toggle the pencil tool in the comments window. Once you've activated the write tool, you have to manually deactivate it before you can use opt-n to close it, and that is sometimes a drag (a really, really small drag). It isn't a huge deal, it's just something I've wondered about for awhile and I thought I'd finally ask. Thanks very much.
  12. You were totally right. I must have gone for another hotkey and switched it to shuffle R or something. Thanks a lot, that was a pain.
  13. Hi, I'm having a really screwy problem. I begin with a single region (see screenshot 1). Screenshot 1 Then, I'll highlight the region, hold alt, and in this case I tried to move it immediately in front of the first region to the second snare hit. Instead of dropping the copied region where I placed it, look where Logic put it (the highlighted region, chorusclap1.1, in screenshot 2)! Screenshot 2 This has never happened to me before and it's pretty hard to get things done with this around. There cpu load is heavy and I'm wondering if that has caused a glitch. What do you guys think? Thanks a lot.
