  1. I know this is an older thread but wanted to post my solution which ended up working for me. Show automation. Select an automation track. Hold option and click the track automation menu and navigate to a midi control track of your choice. Hit "Copy and Convert". Then you can export the midi file and have the automation preserved in midi cc.
  2. I noticed in LPX 10.4.6 that when a 3rd party plugin name is too long to fit on the insert of a channel strip an ellipsis is now used in place of the last few characters. See the screenshot attached for reference. Is there a way to disable this?
  3. Hey folks it's been 7 years. Any update on this feature?
  4. @Atlas007 what is IAC? @anp27 I just tried that with LPX 10.4.3 and it seems to work! Bummer that the RBA doesn't show up in the aliased region though . Also looks like this can be applied to multiple instrument tracks with different midi info on each track by having overlapping regions (one for midi and one for RBA). Once the overlapping regions get merged the aliasing effect no longer applies and it just copies the automation data. Thanks!
  5. Ditto! Here's my crack at it with Alchemy (use your modwheel) Been You.acp.zip
  6. I know how to make a midi region alias but what about an automation (track or region automation) alias? Is this even possible in logic? So if track automation you would delegate an automation lane to be an alias of another identical one on a different track and if region automation the region-based automation could be delegated as an alias of another region's region-based automation. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks!
  7. Nevermind found it under repeat regions events...also works for midi notes!
  8. Is the command I'm talking about. If I look for it in the Key Commands dialog (by searching for "repeat") nothing comes up so it doesn't look like it can be assigned. Anyone know more about this? Is there really no way to assign a key command to this? Thanks!
  9. Synopsis: Toneboosters plugins aren't saving their plugin settings in Logic 10.3.1 on OSX 10.12.3 Method to reproduce: Open a blank session, insert any Toneboosters plugin on a channel strip insert (in my case I tested with Omnisone), move some of the settings around, save the Logic session, quit Logic, reopen the recently saved session, click on the Toneboosters plugin previously added to the channel strip and the settings have returned to their default. Attempts to repair: Reinstalled Logic, reinstalled all Toneboosters plugins, performed Disk Utility's First Aid on boot drive, restarted computer. Has this happened to anyone? Perhaps with a different plugin suite? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Thanks that did the trick!
  11. Thanks for your reply, Eric. Are you able to provide more specific instructions? The two computers are not part of a LAN and I'm not finding a lot of results for using either ARD or AUNetSend with computers that are not on the same LAN. Thanks!
  12. We got it working with Skype but the audio quality is bad (and obviously there's no remote control) using this tutorial: http://thisevilempire.com/blog/?p=442 Does anyone have any other solutions?
  13. I want to be able to control another computer's logic session that is not a part of my local network. I want to be able to have remote control of the keyboard and mouse and hear the audio from the remote computer on my speakers. I've been looking into many solutions with no luck. Some of these include Teamviewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, and VNC Viewer. All of them allow for connection and remote control of the remote computer but they don't transmit the sound from the remote computer to mine. Is this even possible? My computer is running OSX 10.9.5 and logic 10.2.2 the remote computer is running macOS 10.12 and logic 10.3. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
