I am listening to a project in Logic X and if I move any automation parameter while it's playing, all the midi instruments in the song stop working in terms of playback. This makes my usual workflow very annoying and frustrating as I like to hear the automation adjustments as they happen in real time. There is no problem with the automation, just an annoying glitch that has come up. Any help for this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed in Pro-Tools 11 there is a way to select tracks via there I/O. ex: right click on output 1-2 and select everything that is going to that output. Is there a way to achieve this in Logic? Cheers, apolychr

Thanks for the repsonse, but after sifting through the project i somehow cranked down the master fader - 6.2 Db. OOPS.

I am using Logic Pro 9 and all my rendered bounces are dropping in volume a lot. I have never had this issue. This problem is also with Bouncing In Place. Thanks Everyone, apolychr

David there is no problem with my Macbooks sounds card, everything works perfectly out of the "Built -in Output". Fastfourier that's what i had to do and all was good. Also i have tried that yes. thanks for the responses so far!

yes every aspect of sound output sound muffled and quite in volume

Hi everyone, My Presonus Audiobox USB is outputting a muffled, very low volume audio signal. just curious if someone has experienced this problem. Is my soundcard fried? are my 1/4 inch outputs not working properly? Thanks for taking the time everyone! Of course i discovered this at a live gig before playing... bummer haha. Cheers, apolychr

Hi everyone! my issue is that i've tried to transfer a project from my laptop to my studio computer at work and i have the same software synths and liscencing and everything is compatible. i believe my audio files are giving me trouble. my "fade ins" and "slow downs" are not working and i get an error message saying "directory not found". i cannot figure this out i've tried copying the original audio files over as well as redoing them and i cannot get them to follow the parameters (eg. slow down, speed up, fade in/out) as well the "directory not found" message does not stop appearing intermittently . HELP ME PLEASE

Perhaps you don't have the "i" function on in the arrange or mixer... a simple thought but who knows!

Is something like this attainable for someone to do at home who has little to know knowledge of constructing or customizing a computer (me)? Or should I go to a mac specialist and pay the necessary labour to obtain such a feat?

I'm sure you already have a thorough amount of suggestions haha. Perhaps quantize everything 100% but just delay it forwards or backwards in the "inspector" under midi thru. either highlight all regions and make them out of time or do it individually until you hear the natural sound you want. takes time but i'm sure you could copy and paste a loop made from them. Drums in my opinion make or break a track, take your sweet time on them. good luck, apolychr
