  1. Hi, I am trying to solve a problem. I have created a feedback loop as such (image attached) and would like to achieve the following: 1, When I note on I hear the natural instrument sound 2, When I note off, the feedback loop kicks in I was wondering whether this could be achieved by assigning note on / note off parameters to the mute controls of both bus 1 and bus 2 but I cannot seem to figure this out for the life of me. Could anyone offer a suggestion or even an alternative solution? Thanks
  2. Thanks - just found it now. Clicking the Z icon (top right of my previous image) brings up the zones and allows the change of output. Thanks.
  3. Hi, Am I being silly here? I have changed my original stereo sampler into a multi-output and added new tracks via the + button (as per EXS24). I now head into the Mapping area of the sampler to change the output of each instrument within the sampler but instead of changing the selected instrument it appears to: a) change the output for all instruments b) output the audio (on the new multi channel (Samp3-4)) of different instruments that I didn't select? I'm not sure if I'm missing a trick here as this was a breeze previously and I can't see that it would of been made more difficult to achieve? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks D4
  4. Thank you!!! I use this setting at work and completely forgot about it. This was driving me insane! Thanks again.
  5. Running 10.2.4 When I import audio files into a project it takes forever for the waveforms to build up and appear? Is this a known issue and is there any way to resolve it? Thanks D4
  6. Thank you, Yes 'select the previous input source' was already assigned to this shortcut.
  7. HI, I am running 10.2.4 on both my iMac and Macbook Pro and having just received the new 10.1 book from Amazon I began to get both my systems set up as per the getting started section. All advanced tools are selected and initialise all except key commands has been run on both machines. I have selected US from the key commands preset section and on attempting to preview loops using control + space command. On my iMac this works fine but on my Macbook Pro this doesn't work at all. Initially it brought up a selection of what I expect to be the keyboard input sources (British, US). So as per my iMac I removed US so both systems now only have British as an input source available. The problem however still exists. Can anyone please advise as to how I can resolve this? Thanks D4
  8. Ok, Just found the info regarding the 10.2.2 pdf update and downloaded but still a little aggrieved at having to buy twice.
  9. Just read through the posts and now it seems the £22 i spent was a complete waste of money!!! What a croc - and now i'm expected to pay a further £22 for the 10.1 book when I am using 10.2.3 Is there a 10.2 book on the way before i throw another £22 in the bin?
  10. Hi, I purchased the Logic Pro X Professional Music Production book in June 2014 and finally after finishing my degree I am getting round to use it. The question I have is do I need all the update files or does the latest update have all the information from the previous updates included? The last update file that I possess is LogicProXv10_0_7Update_20140531 If anyone could please advise it would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks D4
  11. Ok, So i've removed the apple loops index folder from ~/Library/Audio/ and deleted the index db from ~/Music/Audio Music Apps /Databases/LoopsDatabaseV09.db I launched Logic Pro X and clicked Reindex All Loops which created a new LoopsDatabaseV09.db file and after a minute or so (once the LoopsDatabaseV09.db journal file had disappeared) The loops appeared in the browser. Thanks for you help. D4
  12. When I drag a loop folder (01 Hip Hop) into the section I get the green plus symbol but nothing happens??? This is really strange, are the loops supposed to be in HD/Library/Audio/ or ~/Library/Audio/ Thanks D4
  13. Does it matter that I also have an Apple Loop Index folder in: ~\Library\Audio\
