A VI has to have a multi option, IE Omnishpere and Kontakt, you would have to have to have each sound on a separate midi channel, use 'create track with next midi channel under the sequencer track, (first you'd have to de-assign the output of that track from 'all' , and assign to midichannel 1, to have that option) hope this helps.

same thing happens with quantizing to quarter notes as well. it's very strange

i'm on Logic 10.1.1 I am quantizing notes in the piano roll to 1/8 Triplet (1/12). When I select a note and hit 'Q', it puts everythin off grid by the same amount. My audible click is correct along to the visual grid. I am on 1/12 not grid in my transport menu as well as in my time quantize. Any ideas?

hey I was just going to reply that I was having the same problem. then I figured it out. Preferences->Advanced Tools Check 'Advanced Editing' did it for me

I'm trying to convert track automation into MIDI Modulation CC. I highlight all the breakpoints in the track, right click on the region header -> move all track data to region. The only thing that happens is my track parameter automation disappears, I don't know where it has gone. The original track automation has been deleted and it is not appearing in any of the midi draw parameters. and is not appearing I know I'm missing a step here. Right click on the region-> MIDI draw->Modulation (shift F1) and nothing. How do I select which midi parameter to transfer this track automation to? How do I make this work.

I'm running Logic Pro Academic 9.1.8 on a Macbook Pro OS 10.7.5 I'm having a bit of a weird thing going on, where a few of my vocal take folders aren't playing. They play when I flatten them, but not when they're in take folders. And it's not all of them either, only a few of them. Anybody ever come across this?
