Hey group, I have a new Mac. With that, came the move from Firewire to Thunderbolt for audio interface connectivity. Prior to the upgrade, I was using the PreSonus Inspire 1394 as my audio interface which is a Firewire 400 connection. I have seen adapters that convert Firewire 800 to Thunderbolt, but not 400 to Thunderbolt. First, is anyone aware of such a conversion? Second, if I am SOL, what are your thoughts on Firewire 800 vs. USB 2.0 (or 3.0) should the result be that I purchase a new interface? Thanks in advance, for your reply Mike

Hi everyone, I need to add a gradual tempo descent at the end of this project that I am working on. I am familiar with the use of the tempo track and can see how to do a global abrupt tempo change. But I cannot see how to define a range for the descent, and drop the end of that range to zero like in my Garageband days. Thank you in advance, for you assistance.

Hey all, I am a newb to this forum, so apologies in advance if this issue has been brought up in the past. I recently purchased a new iMac. I used Migration Assistant to move data specific to Logic Express, but did a clean install of the application itself. My attempts to load some of my working files have been met with errors such as: EXS24 instrument "Fingerstyle Electric Bass.exs" not found EXS24 instrument "Grand Piano On Stage.exs" not found Logic Express: Plug-in "Hybrid Bas" not available Warning! Couldn't convert marker text. Needless to say, the playback is not what it was before I moved to the new iMac. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Mike
