  1. I solved my own issue. Restarting my computer didn't work. Neither did closing Logic. But, if you quit all your applications, quit logic and THEN restart your computer, it will go back to normal.
  2. I looked through the forum, I apologize if this is explained elsewhere but I couldn't figure it out. I attached a screenshot of the Controller Assignments page. The Controller Assignments Page is stuck in a super wide mode. And nothing I click on changes the width of the screen. Normally it has a few columns and looks a little different than the attached pictures. I can't scroll to the right. I can however drag the box larger and larger if I keep moving the box left and widening it to the right, after about 5 screen lengths, I gave up doing this. I can set it to full screen, or regular, but either way I can only see the first column. I can't see, click on, or sort any of the other columns. Easy View does look normal. Any ideas on how to reset this to normal?

  4. I want to bring this back up. I have the same issue with Logic 10.5. Weirdly if I load up a sample in the "All Files" tab and click it a few times before I hit play, I can sometimes get it continue playing after pressing spacebar (play). But new samples do not load the audioform visual or play any noise whilst the track is playing. I can't really predict why or when this works or doesn't and it actually appears glitchy to me.
  5. I have the same question. It appears that the Force Syncopation button is no longer in Logic Pro X as of a newer update. Is there another way to turn the beamed notes into dotted notes? Thank you!
  6. I'm sorry I'm about 2 years to late, but yes logic has this ability. In the Midi Transform, create a new one. Give it the same settings as my attachment and you're good to go. The number 10 can be adjusted to your liking but you get the idea.
  7. I'm having trouble working the Midi Transform. I have 1 measure of midi notes. I'd like to duplicate it 40 times and transpose each measure 1 higher than the previous measure. So far I can only figure out how to get it to do this once, with the "copy selected events, then apply operations". Is there a way to get it to do that 40 times in go? Thanks for the help.
  8. Open a new blank project and record a couple bars of random audio. In your Logic Remote, go to the key commands window. Two-finger click to add a key command. Under Main Window Tracks, scroll down all the way to "Create Fade Out" Select the audio region you have created and press the "Create Fade Out" key command on your Logic Remote. Does it quit out of Logic instantly? I've reproduced this issue a number of times but I wanted to check with someone else before I report it. Thanks
  9. I see. So what I have to do is hold shift, select all the tracks, then unselect all the longer fades while still holding shift. Got it, thanks.
  10. In this project, I have my Drag mode set to X-Fade, and use that option to quickly create long fades (4-5 seconds) between regions. I also have many regions that are 'cut straight' or 'touching eachother' and I would like to add a quick 10 millisecond fade between them. Most tracks in the project, have 2 or 3 long fades, and 10 or 15 sections where I would like to add the short fades in, is this possible? I attempted to add these batch fades in by selecting all and creating a fade, but all the long fades go away and become short. i assumed the only other way to do it would be to select all, then unselect all the regions with long fades, and then create the short fades, but I could not find a way to unselect the regions after selecting all. Is there a way to do this? Thanks
  11. Logic X is crashing about every thirty minutes or so. It appears to be running fine and then all of a sudden that wheel turns on and it freezes up. I saw in another thread that someone posted the crash log, but mine is too big for this text box. I've already tried repairing permissions, any other ideas what I can do?
  12. +1 Yes Please! We NEED this! It would be so helpful to have stacks inside stacks. It takes a lot of workaround to accomplish the same thing with busses.
  13. Does anyone know how to do a real-time bounce with outboard gear on the I/O plugin? As in, not a "bounce in place" but rather a "bounce playing thru the I/O plugin"? I've only ever done bounce in place before, but I'm trying to save audio with the I/O processing on it. I tried bounce in place and it gives me a blank track. I tried the session bounce, it also gives me blank sound. The one thing I have gotten to work so far is bussing the track with I/O to a new track and using the normal record. But is there a way to do this without having to create a new track, set busses, and delete the old one? Thanks
