  1. As soon as you open a Logic 8 project in Logic X you'll have to save it as a new version (Logic itself will ask you to save it) in the ".logicx" format. If you were using 32bit plugins in your projects, those won't work in Logic X unless you use a workaround. Here's a thread on the subject: Logic Pro X - how to use 32-bit AU & VST plug-ins J. I now have Logic X, all my old plug-ins and projects work just like they used to.
  2. I have Logic 8 and did the Mac update i am getting the same black lines. If i upgrade to Logic X will all my project files and VSTs be safe and working in logic X?
  3. Cool, I will try the ES1, I've never really used it!
  4. Here's the link Starts at 4min48 and lasts for about 10 seconds. Thanks
  5. Hi, I'm new to the forum. I need a bit of help with a bass effect it's like a filter effect (I think) which is making the one same note going from sub sounding to a higher mid range. I've tried everything and can't seem to crack it I'm suing Logic pro 8 on Mac 10.6.7, 8GB memory, 2.26 Ghz I've read the forum rules and not sure if i can post the YouTube link to the song with the effect that i'm trying to recreate? Thanks
