i was listening to some old tracks and really liked a bass sound i had used called Dish Bass. the problem is i cant find it anywhere so that i can ue it in something new. any thoughts or ideas out there ?

thanks for the reply. yeah i just figured that out. it seems theres a lot of VST's that say compatible with logic. i wonder why.

good day, I'm obv a rookie and i can prove it. i DL'd from steinberg site VST classics vol 1 so i could try a free moog product. for the life of me i cant figure out how to use or get it into logic. aaaarrrgh !!! i know it's gonna be simple but I'm lost. please help.

does anybody have info about usb audio interfaces not working with mavericks 10.9.1 ? i am extremely frustrated with my focurite scarlett 2i2. it doesn't seem to do anything. please give some wisdom. it worked great before updates.

yes to all 3 questions, mr mizzlemt. i am usinng 10.9.1 probably shouldn't have updated. so many problems now. where do i go to edit my system info?

am getting signal from only 1 of the inputs. i am in mono for that channel. I/O is all correct. signal only shows up when using one of the inputs. only sound works with that same input. all advice followed correctly. everything shows up in logic pref's.

i now plugged into the other available input on my usb audio interface. it seems to sort of work.all inputs are correct and i am armed for recording. this audio interface has been nothing but problems. i talked to the employees where i bought it about the problems with it and they are blaming the mavericks updates. anyone else having the same problems?

as far as "preparing a track for recording" from pages 63-64. i select create audio track but then i hear nothing when i should hear the guitar thats plugged in. should i be creating an audio track or should i be clicking on guitar or bass? selecting audio is doing nothing for me. what have i done wrong?

using the class compliant app didn't fix it.
