  1. I think I solved it... I bypassed all the plugins and then activated them again and have been working fine for a little while now...
  2. Been a few updates lately, first they changed the colour of the activated mute button so I, as a colourblind person, no longer could see if it's activated or not on highlighted channels. I did however send a support note to Apple and a few weeks later a new update came out and that was now fixed. Hurray! However, just updated to the latest version available in the App Store and new issue occurs. It takes forever to load plugins and moving plugins around in the channel strip gets the spinning beachball... A bit annoying. Anyone else experience this?
  3. Wohoo! Finally, drove me mad that the "additional content window" was empty...
  4. Don't think it´s a bug, most bass cabs rolls off at 40-50 hz. The old staple Ampeg 8x10 only goes down to 58 hz.
  5. Hej Martin! I understand exactly what you mean but it is important to make the distinction between bus and Aux channel. The bus will always be stereo (unless you are working in surround) but the Aux channel created can be mono or stereo. Ah yes, thanks for pointing that out!
  6. This is probably not what´s involved with your issue, but is good to know. There´s a difference between mono input stereo reverb and stereo input stereo reverb. If you open a new send on a mono track, Logic creates a new mono bus. Inserting a reverb on this bus will create a mono input reverb. This means that how ever you pan the track, the reverb sound is going to be in the middle of the stereo image. To get at stereo input reverb, you need to change the bus to a stereo bus before inserting a reverb. This probably isn´t the issue in this case, but it´s good to know for anyone who hasn´t figured that out yet.
  7. That's more complicated than it needs to be. Just pan the Aux that contains the reverb. Or, if you want to send a panned source to a reverb receiving multiple sources, then set the output of the first Aux to a bus that goes to another Aux that has a reverb and pan the first Aux as desired - no need to use a send. Yes, that removes two step and one knob so it´s faster to set up. Thanks!
  8. Ah damn, you´re right. It didn´t seem to work when I tried it now. Just rememberd that I used to use that when recording buses, like printing reverb and fx... That´s why my head messed up a litte. Sorry!
  9. Soundflower works fine for me, OS X 10.8.5, but I don´t have any RME stuff. Generally, when something doesn´t work at all(that has happened like once in 7 years), I would re-format the drive and re-install everything I need to do basic stuff and go from there. Also installing a new OS on top of another seems to be a little hit and miss for some users. When I got Mountain Lion things were fiddly at first, so I re-formated the drive and did a clean install which sorted out all of the problems. Going from Snow Leopard to Lion didn´t give me any issues though.
  10. Workaround: send the track pre fader to a new bus, remove the output of the new bus. Send the new bus to the reverb and pan as you wish. The reverb has to have a stereo input(most have), otherwise the reverb will still end up in the middle.
  11. The logic behind it is that it only protects what´s on the track, not what´s in the mixer. You could ask for that feature on Logics support page, but personally I like being able to make fader changes while the track is protected. But it would´t harm if there was an option to configure what should be protected, including volume and automation. I don´t mind how it works now though, except that the option to protect the global tracks seems to be omitted. Too bad.
  12. Yes, but seems you have to do that in the main window. Create new audio track, choose number of tracks, select "bus" under input, click "ascending" and there you have it. The buses will be namned "Audio 1, Audio 2" etc but will still work as a regular bus. That´s how I do it and haven´t found another way yet. Someone else maybe have?
  13. Would be great if it can be solved, because I would use it all the time. Much faster pressing one button to get a crossfade than using the fade tool or typing in the inspector. They should assign fades to a key command too. Maybe it´s already assignable, but I haven´t found it.
  14. I can´t get it to work. It´s always greyed out. Anyone had any succes with this button?
