Is there a way to keep the musical keyboard permanently open and minimised so it doesn't get in the way. eg in Ableton I just select the keyboard icon on the top of the screen and can play notes, octave etc without having to frequently open the qwerty keyboard.

Thank you as always David. After @des99 post I changed my prefs to the two-finger swipe and all is good. Nice and clear now for anyone else who may see this post. Thanks again guys!

Hi All, I'm currently teaching a bunch of students and what I want to be able to do is Zoom in on an area of LPX to demonstrate or show a closer look. eg Zoom in on a section of the mixer or routing. I've seen others do this on lots of video tutorials for lots of applications but I can't work out how to do it? Do you need another application/utility or is it a trackpad gesture?

Me neither, searched high and low to see if I can find gain output 16. Nothing....

Just a thought. Could it be because I original made it in an earlier version of LPX and something has changed with an update. I'm running LPX 10.4.1 but probably made this in an earlier version Feb 2016

Hi Guys, Opened up an old project. One of the channels isn't automating the volume as originally intended. I have an automation lane that is controlling Gain Output 16 and I have no idea what parameter this is automating? Its not any of my effects? and I've checked all things that correspond to 16 - busses, effect gains etc?? Baffled?

Where has the midi draw option gone? Its now automation?

It's quite varied when you open the midi region - just doesn't look like it is in the pic. Also my objective is to get the midi over onto my modular eventually (which doesn't have an arpeggio)

Hey All, I created a lovely arpeggio on my Virus a while back and have since sold it. I'm trying to recreate the arpeggio in LPX. I have the Midi notes that I originally wrote but not the arpeggio version. I've imported the midi notes into logic > loaded the arpeggio and now would like to copy the pattern from the arp into my arrangement. I'm sure I did this once before (In a similar way that ultrabeat lets you copy the pattern to arrangement. Hi All, In the mixer - what do the colours indicate on the peak level display. The reason I ask is that 2 chaneels are both displaying -3.1 but one is orange and one is red? Is it the available headroom (Colour)? & Peak level (numerical value)?

Well I held back for ages on this. Finally gave it a go and upgraded to from 10.9.5 to Sierra OS last night. Worst decision - it's taking me all day to sort plug in compatibility now. I thought I might have a few issues but didn't realise it would be this many. Tempted to roll back OS. Is this the same experience for others?

Hi All, I would like to come to the 10.3 party but I'm apprehensive that my mac will start to slow down or the possibility of some hardware not being supported. I'm currently running 10.9.5 is there any way that I can access the new update without having to update my OS? Apologies if this is a re-post or covered elsewhere

Hi All, I've pulled 24 audio parts all of 4 bar in length into Logic dragging from finder and then selecting add to new tracks. Is there then a shortcut to cascade all of the samples eg bar1[track1], bar5[track2], bar9[track3] etc

Don't really want to update to Sierra but want to update to LPX 10.3 - dilemma Not really worth the risk of updating as I'll lose some plug ins I use a lot. Some hardware will then be redundant. Are there any workarounds I'm unaware of that could let me stick with 10.9.5 but update LPX - Doubt it........ but thought I'd ask
