im not sure about the note offs being sent.. i tried snoize when i play one note yes i believe the note off is being sent but when i play multiple notes (when the stuck notes are happening) its difficult for me to diagnose, thanks for your suggestion

i added my equipment to my signature as requested. Roland Fantom is connected to Motu Midi Express 128, latest drivers are installed on the Motu Midi Express. Local Control is Off on the Fantom Motu Midi Express is going through a USB 2.0 hub (i have also tried directly into the USB ports on my iMac)

i dont know how to diagnose a midi loop, its just connected regurlarly as far as i know, yes im using a midi interface to connect my external gear

Hey, i got a brand new iMac machine, and im having the same problem as before, stuck midi notes on external midi, very frequently, i have tried the usb 2.0 hub and various other fixes to no avail, anyone else having this issue? Cheers

David, everything is working as expected on pro tools, so i don't think there is anything wrong with my system, do you think this could be a logic bug?

I'm having exactly the same issue as posted in the first post. I've tried different midi interfaces, two different computers etc does anyone know a fix for this?

Anyone? sorry to bump this i just though someone might have an answer? i did some tests & this isn't happening in Pro Tools only Logic. the problem with this is i prefer working in Logic. i ran a session last night in pro tools for a few hours without any hanging notes then switched over to Logic & got a hanging note on external midi almost immediately, is this normal? Thanks

i still haven't fixed this fully, (I'm working in cycle mode) but i will say i went to File > Project Settings > Recording > Create Take Folders (after reading on your forum this fixed it for someone) & i haven't had any hanging notes yet using this mode however when i go to File > Project Settings > Recording > Join When Cycling the problem comes back. i haven't done enough testing to see if this is actually the fix ill have to wait a few more days or weeks to find out. the only problem is i prefer to work in "Join When Cycling" mode. are any of you guys using hardware synths with logic without any problems? if so please let me know

Hey all, I'm looking for a new MIDI Interface for Logic X & Mavericks, this is because I'm getting hanging notes with my current one on hardware keyboards, does anyone know one compatible or that will work well i preferably want one with multiple ins and outs that will fit in a rack space but at this point even just one that will work will be fine, Regards

Hey All, I'm trying to sequence my Korg Triton with Logic (and did Pro Tools as a test) when i do this it works fine for a while then i tend to get hanging notes or stuck notes. does anyone know the cause of this and or fix for this, Thanks

I have done some tests, & the delay is only present after i have opened an audio track.

Ok, this is weird i opened up Logic 9 & i am not getting a delay on the first note, Its only in Logic X where I'm getting the delay,
