any ideas?

hey, when i bounce my mixdown to a pcm file (normally i choose wave with 24bit), it sounds slightly different than it does in my multitrack project.. a little weaker and more quite. but this is supposed to be a lossless method?! so what do i need to do to get an single track audio export for the mastering process? i hope this question didn't come up already and thanks in advance.
