Thanks David. I'm still confused lol. So I currently use live 9 and heard awesome things about logic. I'm currently running the trial version. Here's a video showing exactly what I want to do: Start the video at 55 seconds in and watch until 1:28. They guy is playing all the samples on his midi keyboard and I really want to learn how to play the kick drum samples like he does in the beginning. You know, going down the range with the sample. Thanks!

Hi, I'm so lost lol. All I'm trying to do is assign a kick drum sample across 2 octaves on my midi keyboard. I want to have 2 octaves of the kick drum being able to be played like the scale of a piano, typical of trap music. How do I do this?
