I'm slightly confused when you mention logic and fm8s windows... I open the fm8 plugin window and scroll through the browser to select presets. Is this right? I also use massive and i use it in the same way that I'm trying to use fm8 and it works fine.

Hi, I recently installed FM8 from Native Instruments on to Macbook Pro. Everything works fine, i can open up fm8 as a plugin in Logic and it runs fine, i can record midi etc. However, whenever i reopen a saved project with fm8 sounds recorded i can't hear anything other than the same sine wave during playback... Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Just tried using it again and it worked... I don't why or how but the usb LED just came on!

sorry about that! I'm using 10.9.5. i think i confused myself, ill change that now. And no i don't have a usb hub. However i tried using the mt4 with another macbook and its still showed the patch LED and not the usb LED.

Yes the driver is in there.. Anything else i could try?

I have tried both a new cable and usb port.. when you say library which library do you mean?

I have updated my signature.. Is there anything else i could do to try and get my emagic mt4 working with my macbook and logic?

I downloaded this earlier and installed it. Still no luck... Do i need to do anything with the driver once its installed?

Hi, i am unable to use my emagic mt4 midi interface with Logic Pro X, The cables are all connected fine... The interface's LEDs light up in both midi in and midi out when i press a key on my keyboard (Korg X5D) and the patch LED is lit, however the USB LED is not..My macbook will not recognise that a keyboard is connected neither will logic. I have a macbook pro version 10.9.5 and logic pro x. Thanks a lot

Hi, a few days ago i made a sampler instrument with exs24. (its a drum kit). Today i opened up exs24 and clicked load, my instrument was there. It loaded into exs24 fine. However when i press a key all i hear is a really low bass sound? Exs24 also says "missing" next to the name of my instrument? Thanks!
