Guys, I need help with this. I guess I mustve switched it on accidentally somewhere so now when I place a region on top of another (by mistake) it cuts off that region. Extremely annoying. How do I get rid of this function?

I find it very buggy too but your problems probably has something to do with lack of memory as stated above.

Yes, its buggy as hell.

LPX is not my friend right now... - All of a sudden LPX just stops playback and I can't get it to play without restarting the program. - When I hover over the region corners that are supposed to show the loop tool, fade in/out tools, extending/shortening tools etc i just get the pointer tool. - The Catch Playhead function works sporadically. As soon as I drag L or R in the arrange window the CP-icon turns off. - The tracks in a Track Stack are much bigger than other tracks....like huge. When I zoom in or out using the arrows top right this happens. When my non-stacked tracks are in my preferred size the ones in a stack are humongous. - Not a bug obviously but the dark color look was the worst idea ever. It makes me sleepy. Etcetera etcetera.

Use the slider/arrows in the upper right corner of the arrange window.

Have you tried updating the Mbox drivers? Dunno which version of MBox you have (the original? Mbox2? 3rd gen Mbox?) but somewhere here you should be able to find the right one. Yup, tried both saving as a package and a folder. Same thing happens.

What happens is I open a project recorded in Logic 8 and everything is there; audio and such. Fine. But when I change some stuff (customize the toolbar, transport bar, configure the track headers etc) and save it, when I open the project again it just reverts back to the old layout. All my changes are gone. If i create a new project this problem does not exist. Only when I open old stuff. Why is this? Am I missing something? Is it normal? It is incredibly annoying. Help please! I really don't want to bounce everything to consolidated files and then import them one by one into a new project.

Ok, I'll get the obvious question out of the way (just to be sure): is the phantom power working ok?

Just set the locators to where the song starts and ends and hit Bounce on the Output channel strip. Is this not working? Or how are you doing it?
