  1. Hi, would like to ask if its possible to automate parameters of 3rd party VI, like Kontakt or Omnisphere, when I use multioutput routing. I have instance of Omni, multi-output, different channels and output routing within Omni. In Mixer Im using + button to create AUXes and then create tracks from them in the tracks area. When I press A for automation, I can automate only parameters for the first track of Omni, what about the others, it is possible? Thanks
  2. Hey Jay, on all the forums I visit I will PM you more about the situation. I emailed VSL support, they said they are preparing update for the workaround, so will see, but Im interested in your workflow
  3. No one on multiple instances in LPX or if you successfully use multiport layer?
  4. Hi, I would like to ask if anyone is using VEP5 with LPX and successfully using VEP multiport layer setup as well. I downloaded it from VSL and tried it, however the other ports seem to alter the track inspector options a bit, can't see sends, etc. To keep things clean I thought I might just use multiple instances of VEP5 and load them with the sounds. For my slave comp I use PC with just EastWest stuff loaded on SSDs, the Play engine is capable of 9 stereo outputs I think, so every time I run out, I can add another instance - trying to work on orchestral/cinematic sounds, so I might need a lots of instruments. Does anyone work like this? thanks PS> recently switched to Logic Pro X - i like the interface and the workflow, its just some workarounds are a bit annoying, but every DAW has its flaws I guess
  5. Hello, my first post here as I moved from Cubase 7 to Logic Pro due to my switch from PC to Mac platform (very happy about the switch so far, still using my PC as powerful slave and for occasional gaming). Bought RME UCX about an year ago - did not have any issue with it so far, RME is among the best when it comes to stability of its drivers ACROSS OS platforms. Of course, its just one link in the chain, which is as strong as your weakest link. But I did not experience any hiccups or issues with it on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and now on the OS Mavericks running Logic Pro 10.0.7. RME support is amazing, replied to me within 24 hours - which is important as well and not fully appreciated sometimes. It has low latency (impressive converters) and many PLUS features like TotalMix and integrity with iOS devices. All in all, stable, powerful mediator for your music - price just reflects its potential
