  1. Hi guys, I'm having an issue when I quantise audio. If I select flex time and in the inspector window I use quantise, it will quantise the audio to what I set it too when logic has automatically found the transients. this works great however, MOST of the time when I try and quantise something, it doesn't select all the transients to quantise like in beat detective in pro tools. In logic when it's set to the most sensitive it still only registers maybe 60% of the transients. The problem I have is, after I've manually selected and drawn in all the "unselected" audio transients that I want to quantise, I select the region and in the inspector window click quantise, it won't quantise my audio. I have to literally drag every single transient by hand to where it should be. Is this normal or a glitch because it's been that way in all my updates so far... in the inspector is says quantise is on, but it physically doesn't move the audio. I'm now running 10.2.1 PLEASE help.
  2. It happened on a lot of the channels. Not just 1.
  3. It only happens on Audio tracks We using the Waves suite and Voxengo plugins. However, the issue started happening before any plugins were inserted on a channel. It started happening just listening back. It also bounces out with these glitches in.
  4. If I drag them in individually it seems to work. Must be a bug.
  5. Hi there, I was running a session yesterday and Logic kept crashing when ever I tried double clicking on an audio region to open up the track editor. This didn't happen once or twice. This happened maybe 15 times in a row. I tried pressing E to access it and it literally took maybe 2 minutes to appear. Is it a known issue in 10.2? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hi there, PLEASE HELP. I'm mixing an incredibly important session with a crazy deadline. On playback, audio randomly cuts out and back in on different channels. It's completely at random and if I stop and play it back from a different location, it'll cut out again, but at completely different places. The audio is still completely in tact. It is literally just the sound on the channel that will randomly disappear and reappear a few seconds later. It's not just 1 channel, but random channels everywhere in the session. This has NEVER been an issue. But only since we've updated to Logic 10.2.0
  7. Hi there, I wanted to find out if anyone could help. I usually bounce out all my MIDI regions as audio files once i've finished editing them to try and save on CPU space. I also generally mix in trackstacks just to make big sessions more manageable. Up till now when mixing, I generally open a producer kit to mix my drums and drag bounced out midi of other instruments into the producer kit stack so that all drums are together. i.e. if I use Damage sounds, I bounce out the damage drums and then put them into the producer kit track stack so i can control it all at once. Since upgrading to 10.2, it no longer allows me to drag the bounced out audio files into the producer kit stack. Am I doing something wrong or has anyone else experienced this problem. Specs are Logic X 10.2 OSX 10.9.5 Mac Pro Early 2009
  8. Hi There, Recently I've been running pretty big sessions with a LOT of flex pitch/time on. After a while the main window jumps around and becomes almost impossible to edit. I'll attempt to scroll to the last chorus for example and it will constantly jump back to the first chorus. there isn't a selection or anything made and clicking around to try cancel any possible selections doesn't help at all. Is it a bug or could it be that my computer just can't handle the session? I was running a mac Pro mid 2009 and now a mac pro mid 2010 and both do it. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!
  9. Hi there Recently I've been working on some pretty big sessions with upwards of about 160 vocal tracks and have found that sometimes when I bounce down to a stereo file, there will be an audio file here and there that is just left out of the mix and I have to go and bounce the track out again. All the channels are on and nothing is muted when I bounce down. Could this be a bug, or is there a solution? Thanks a lot
  10. Sorry for the late reply. It wasn't changing the comp automatically so I went to the take menu and chose another take and from there it went to it's own take and started making new comps. Thanks for the help, wouldn't have stubbled upon that.
  11. Sorry for only replying now. I figured out that the problem was that quick swipe comping was on so when I dragged out the audio track it cuts off where you comp it. If you turn off quick swipe comping and drag out the actual take, the audio is still there and I could put it back in and carry on work.
  12. Hi Guys, I'm having a huge problem. I've recently moved from Pro Tools to Logic X and in PT, when cutting a piece of audio you can paste it in another section and then "drag" the audio file out from both sides to reveal the rest of the recording If you've cut it too short. In Logic X I find that after I've cut the audio and paste it somewhere else, before and after the audio it just drags out as silence. Is there a setting to change this that the audio isn't deleted but rather just "Hidden" and can be dragged out if It's been cut too short. This is quite a big problem for me so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Hi Guys I just wanted to find out. A lot of the time I record a bunch of audio takes and make an entire comp, however sometimes I want to resing a whole section to get a better feel to replace one line, however I find that it records onto the comp take and undoes all the comp work that I did previously. Is there a way to record onto a separate take on the same channel without it affecting the comp track?I've recently switched from Pro Tools where you record to different takes and then comp the tracks afterwards. I hope my problem is pretty clear. Thanks a ton in advance!
