  1. Hi - That's basically what I've been trying to do. "Tweak until it works"! I just feel like there aren't concert settings between logic and UA but the info in this post (and this amazing forum) have been excellent!
  2. Thanks again If I'm monitoring audio through the UA Console, should plug-in latency be set to "All" or "Audio and software instrument tracks"? Thanks!
  3. I've been away from Logic for about a year (I know, I suck!). I may have forgotten how to setup and record correctly. I would sincerely appreciate some advice. I have a template setup that has stacks/folders routed to auxes. These Auxes are for Drums, Bass, Music, Lead. On each of those auxes I have two inactive plugins - PSP Vintage Warmer and waves L-3LL My questions are: - Will having these plugins on the auxes affect latency in the recording when recording live audio and monitoring via UA Console? (I have "input monitoring" unticked) - If I'm monitoring audio through the UA Console, do I still need to use the "Low Latency Monitoring Mode" button? Thanks!
  4. I thought it was perhaps the normalize option using Export Audio but it's not. I'm still getting around 2 lufs difference between bouncing out the mix vs printing it back into Logic... The level drop is happening before I export the track. I think the bus/routing placement is changing the levels?... weird.
  5. Just seeing this now! Sorry for the delay! I believe it was a human error?!
  6. Hi there - I used Isotope rx. I think the difference is about 2 lufs. Thanks
  7. Hi there, I have stems that I have recorded back into Logic. I am trying to export these stems but when I use File, Export I've noticed the volume of the export audio is different to the audio in then project (In the Audio folder vs what I've exported in the Bounce folder). Normalize off didn't change anything. What do I need to do to remedy this? Thanks!! Jam.
  8. p.s. Can it really be one single plugin that is causing many others to crash? It's like the plugins take turns to crash...
  9. Hi there - thanks for your reply! Was hoping it wouldn't be that.... I'll try using stock plugs (FX only, not instruments) for a few days and see what happens. I've had nothing but problems since day one with the 2018 MacBook Pro. Ugh. Thanks again.
  10. Hi there, I'm wondering what I can do... Over the last few months Logic has been crashing a lot. Sometimes the project will crash as it's loading, sometimes it happens when I move to a different section in the project. After Logic has crashed I'll get the typical error message saying Logic crashed due to a particular plugin. However, It's always a different plugin. Changes from UAD, Rob Papen, Serum etc. All the plugins and Logic itself are up to date. I have removed and reinstalled Logic including delete the prefs files. With projects that crash as I'm opening them, I reboot and that seems to fix it until next time. I typically create 50+ projects a month so it's become a real pain. Any suggestions would be high appreciated! Thanks for any help! Jam.
  11. Hi there, This doesn’t normally happen. Only sometimes it will extend the region unnecessarily. If there are other regions on that track it will do the same to them even though they are not highlighted.
  12. Hi triplets, Thanks for your help! Unfortunately, I am already doing al this.
  13. Hi there, This started happening a while ago and I'm not sure why. When I change the start of a region by sliding the region back, that is ultimately removing the start of the region, the end of the region changes too by getting longer. The same happens when I'm editing a midi region by moving notes around. Logic will extend the region. This ends up with a lot of over lapping regions. What have I don't wrong? Thanks! Jam.
