  1. That's what i thought i was doing, just renaming each take and creating a new file but i see it doesn't work like that now. Will explore the Alternatives function, thanks for your help.
  2. Thanks, So whats the best way of saving different versions of the same project,e.g. different drum takes so you can go and chose the best take?
  3. So i'm answering myself, just my way of distraction from the referendum here in Scotland ,not the right forum for that kind of thing. It looks like it could be something that i should tick in the advance tools, file, audio tracks thing but i'm sure I shouldn't have to tick this box every time.I've tried saving another project and it works ok but not when i needed it to after lots of time spent tracking drums. If anyone has any project saving tips and tricks, let me know please! thanks.
  4. Ok. So it tells me "files not found" when i try and open a project ,i go through the skip all option and still not there.I know the audio is there as i can have a quick look window on the file and can see the wav form on the tracks. It seems to have lost the files possibly as i renamed each version of the same song when i saved them so i could tell them apart.Anyone with me?!!
  5. Hey there After recording on location i got home to find the drum tracks on my project have no audio. They were fine as i checked them before shutting down and saved them to an external hard drive, but now the tracks are there but no audio.I made sure to save them properly and renamed each version. The last version i worked on is fine but the others are just blue! any ideas? thanks
  6. So my latency issues seem to be ok now,I went back through every option again and whatever i was or wasn't doing has sorted itself out! thanks again Eric.
  7. Thanks a lot for your help,i'll let you know how i get on.
  8. Sorry, got you. No,it's zero.I tried recording onto Garageband and that is fine! I will try all of the above again.Thanks.
  9. Yes,i've done all Eric has suggested but still the same problem.Mac is connected via firewire.Yes Eric, when i record it feels fine but on playback the click is behind.I'm just using the click to check the latency,if i record another track, say another guitar,it will be behind too. It could be the Apollo,I've done all i can to the Apollo settings i think.
  10. Hey I tried that but still no joy. It's spot on with the click when i use a software instrument but when i plug in a mic there is a slight delay, easily noticed when re recording the click.I know there is always latency but when recording a click over a click with no plugins they should sync right?
  11. No latency through headphones while recording and software monitoring is off.Metronome is slightly behind guitar on playback.
  12. Hey, Yes,tried that.Seems to record ok so latency seems to be in the monitoring..
  13. Hi there, I'm using Apollo duo into Macbook pro version 10.9.4 When i'm recording acoustic guitar, using Logics metronome as tempo, there is a slight delay between the audio and metronome. I've tried a different buffer size, low latency mode and all the latency options in the Apollo. All i seem to be doing these days is messing about with latency problems rather than recording. Frustrating! please help
