Equipment: Logic Pro 9.1.8 Mac Book Pro OS X 10.9.4 Audio Interface: Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 I just recently purchased the Scarlett and am having problems hearing my electric guitar while recording. When I open an existing project and want to lay down a new guitar track, as soon as I hit play or record, I can no longer hear my guitar, I can only here all the other tracks that i previously recorded. I am aware of the direct monitoring function on the scarlett box itself, and when I turn it on, I can hear my guitar while I record, although i no longer hear the desired effects on the guitar. How do I record my guitar and hear it with the desired effects on top of the other tracks, while recording?
