  1. Hi, Yep thats exactly what we are doing! LOL Anyway, we have figured out that it was a plugin causing the problem on the muting issue ! Thanks for the help anyway cheers
  2. Yes we have done it properly through the all files browser. Does not explain why it is dragging elements from different projects even though there are multiple instruments named "Kick" of course it shouldn't be doing this? Would be good to get a fix for the muting MIDI Bug also. Thanks for the help
  3. Hi! Thanks for the reply. We are now dragging everything into a new project as we have done many times before with no hassle but for some reason it seems to be importing instruments from a completely different project. It is all MIDI we are running in EXS so for example when we drag in the "Kick" instrument from the problem project it is giving us a random kick from a different project? I think Logic hates us today, never had anything like these problems before. Thanks
  4. Hi Guys, We just opened up an old project which was working perfectly before and now all the channels seem to be muting themselves as random, The actual mute button doesn't turn blue as this happens and we have tried the MIDI> Input Filter option with no results. Can anybody please help with this or had this problem before? We are on a deadline and need to get this session wrapped up today but this is so frustrating. Thanks
  5. Hi Guys, I posted on here a week or so ago as I upgraded to Yosemite and my Logic X was lagging a lot and just slow in general. I completely erased my hard drive backing everything up and went into internet recovery mode to downgrade to Mavericks. I am still having the problems in Logic X and Its becoming quite frustrating now as there is no reason why this should be happening. My macbook is the following spec: Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory: 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 I have around 126GB of free space on my hard drive and I am still getting these issue: -when scrolling through a project the screen is slow and jittery. -if a project is playing and I hit space to stop the level meters drop sluggishly and don't zero for sometimes around a minute. I would much appreciate any help anybody can offer as I have done a full system re-format pretty much re -installed logic and all related and still getting this sluggish interface. Thanks
  6. Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum and I ran a search beforehand and couldn't find anybody having similar issues so decided to post to see if anyone can help. So I decided to go for Yosemite update after reading up a lot online, logic users seemed to be getting along OK with it so I took the plunge. Ever since I made the upgrade Logic X has been Sooooo Laggy. Even when scrolling locators and through the project its ridiculously slow, however it doesn't seem to be spiking the CPU meter at all. Is anybody else having this similar issue? I'm hoping it is just an issue with Yosemite which will be fixed on the next update. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks
