Hi In node tab, node is activated and sees 2 computers, my MBP and iMAC, fine. On the tracks, I swipe across all my strips to engage noding and the icone turn " two arrows pointing each other in dark green" ...means " waiting for syncro" right ? And now, what else I should do to make it work so I can free my imac CPU to my MBP... so I can continue mixing ? Thanks.

Hi here is my problem, see my setup down below, ( Imac i7 quad, 8g ram) it's not an old machine but i'm running a very heavy project with lots of waves pluggins on 68 tracks with 10 FX busses. I have done more on my old laptop... (with out the Waves) 64 bit give me more ram but when all track freezed, have nothing gained and seems weak and overload appears alot. 32 bit seems more powerfull when freezed but again, I get cut on ram and it's not getting any better 64 or 32... even freezed. I have my old MBP witch i could NODE with iMac but the icones ( on track) is showing the " waiting for syncro" ( two green arrows pointing each other) not working... Any more idea for getting my mix done without frustrating weakness and overloads ? Thanks.

Thanks, I see. so when running alot of waves pluggins do you get more power with 64bit for ram saving or node for more CPU helping ? Thnaks

I have a MBP witch is fine with node, I see the node option and seems normal. On my imac studio 9 the node tab in the preference/audio ... is just not there at all. Why and how to engage this... I'm running on 64 bit, any idea ? The wire ethernet is connected... node app is running... Thanks for your help

Hi ! I have Complete Waves V8 newly installed and every plugins works as expected. But only the GTR series wont load up properly into logic. I go to the insert tab, select waves and GTR tool rack wont load, it shows a message that says " Contact the editor for further assistance... " The funny things is, as a " stand alone" it works fine into the rack...The only thing I did the first time loading is to show this plugins where it's original folder was, when asked... Logic wont recognized GTR series, Why ?? thanks

I want to re arrange Sunday bloody sunday ( U2) this was originally made no clik track at all. Now I want to follow that song with my sequencer ( logic for sure) Two ways a thought : 1) Time stretch the track with FLEX... like quantize the song at 1/4 note or anything else... It works for 2 bars and Flex gets it all wrong putting the song out of time. 2) Now, get my sequencer to follow... analyze the track , get a groove template. Program my clik track to be quantize with my groove template made with the song... Same thing happen, no one can follow each other !! How to make it works... Cubase SX 3 would !! OK... But even if my buffer is as low as 128 and my cpu still sleeping ? There is still some plugins that will create latency...? I would engage this mode if my cpu could not handle the low buffer it would need to be comfortable playing midi piano by exemple... But anyway, I understand the concept, Thanks

Thanks... Like you said, I should get better results for sure. My task is very basic. Motu FW400 goes through my back up drive, FW800. Recording vocal track while playing 2 rhythm tracks... very simple. You see my set up down here, iMac i7 But finaly I will record on an external drive... thanks

Yes, I have a midi latency even when buffer is at 128 or 64. It's fine if the low latency mode is engage... well, should be fine with out it, cause this mode brings other compromise in the work flow... I swear, no ADlimiter or any of the same king at the master output... What or where is my problem , I have a fast processor it handles low buffers... But still latency occurs ... weird ! thanks !! NOTE: My motu card (FW400) passes through my external drive (FW 800) Thought it should be fine... Ciao

Well yes... I' recording ONE audio track while back playing 2 audios and very often I see That message of " disk to slow" Once I was doing a fast demo of a song with the singer while her manager was waiting... disk to slow... furious, I dragged the folder to an another disk and everything was fine ! oooff ! Yes, I am recording on the system dick, the tera bit disk in my imac i7... I don't think it's should be wrong !? is it ? Should I use my back up disk (via FW800) to record now ? ( boo) thanks ! ciao
