  1. I just got logic pro x and i wanted to hook up my micro korg synthesizer to it and record it's sounds. With a 1/4" cable i plugged it into my ART USB Mix (Three Channel Mic-Inst-Line Mixer-Computer Interface) and that is plugged into the computer with USB. The problem is, when I create an audio track, the track somehow picks up any sound playing through logic pro whether i am recording or just playing back. To clarify, if i, for example, want to record my audio track with the metronome and my other tracks playing in the background, when i play back the recording (Even with click while playing back disabled, and all other tracks muted) all of those other tracks and metronome have been recorded onto the new audio track. I just bought the audio interface and it was previously used, so i don't know if that could have anything to do with this being messed up. and if the interface is the problem, i want to return it. And to add to the problem, whenever i have the interface plugged in, Logic Pro X will only play sound through the interface's "Monitor Headphones" port. It won't let me play through my built in laptop speakers, or through headphones or speakers plugged into my laptop's headphone jack. Even when i go into sounds settings and select "Output-built in speakers" Thank you for your time, this is really frustrating me.
