Hi All, Ive been looking for a 61key controller that has a display that will show me the patch lists, selected patches and parameters - you know, the usual so I don't need my laptop in front of me. I remember seeing this feature on the Vax77 (discontinued). I know that the Nektar P6 can also do this. 1. Are there any other controllers that will allow this? Thanks Matt

Hi Guys, Is there away to make Alchemy internal sounds sync with the midi clock 'on the beat' rather than when the key is pressed? Do you know what I mean? If I trigger the note part way after the beat, the arp will play after the beat. Can I get it to lock to the clock? Thanks

I think I've sorted it. In the audio bin there is a little metronome icon, i right clicked and converted to aiff. I now imports at 125bpm.

Hi, Im trying to import a bass sample that is 44.1k into a project that is also 44.1k. the bass sample is 4bars at 125bpm, the project is 130bpm. When i import the wav or audition in via logic it have been auto adjusted to 130bpm, which is good, only it sounds like puss. I want to time stretch it manually (possible in melodyne). If i audition it in finder, it sound correct, but not in logic what am i doing wrong?

The other week I MDed a christmas thingy. I used mainstage for my entire keyboard setup. For a few songs I used playback. I ran a click to the in ears and stereo to the FOH via a saffire. I always have a fear when using click tracks but it worked flawlessly. Heres a song using mainstage with playback Gear was: 13" Macbook Pro Oxygen 61 mk2 Saffire (original) Rolls PM351

Okay - here's a puzzle for you, I'm sure it can be done somehow. Channel strip 1 plays a pad Channel strip 2 plays another pad (2) Channel strip 3 plays a shaker (single hit) The foot switch too open the gate on pad 2 The foot switch to also trigger the shaker Any Ideas?

I have an Oxygen 61 - programming the transport as above works perfect - except.... Every time I restart logic I have to reprogramme them, even though the control details are still assigned to that keycommand.???

I'd like to know the answer too. What we want is the LFO's, trems etc to be Key Synced rather than the internal clock. I've been trying to change the LFO in the ES2 to key sync with no joy yet....

Not just effect, but mainly delays. I've used taps most my life. It should get more accurate the more you tap but on mainstage (or mine for some reason) it only uses the last 2 taps to set the tempo.

Yeah sorry, the audio is out of sync with video??? the tapping is in time. As the band are on free time, pre set tempo wont work.

Bump - Can someone else confirm that mainstage tap tempo only bases itself on the last 2 taps? Or what am i doing wrong?

Edit: The audio got out of sync with the video somewhere in between compressing it and uploading to to you tube. I have removed the video as I think it was just confusing things

It only takes into account the last to taps, even if I tap it 20 times). If I get time tonight I'll post a video to show you. I've used taps alot on other equipment and it should look like this right?.... Tapping along with 120bpm 116, 124, 118, 122, 120, 119, 120, 120, 120, 120, 120, 120 But in fact it looks more like this... 116, 124, 118, 123, 120, 123, 117, 116, 122, 120, 119, 123 I've searched the manual and cant find anything about it.
