    Latency

That ^^^^ Or split the signal and add reverb outside the box. Singers will love you, promise. My wife does
  2. One way of doing it is in the Environment and a regular fader. You'll need a transformer that converts for example note off to fader data and then use that fader data to increment the value of the fader. Or you could use a cable switcher instead of a fader and have 8 (or whatever) different routing options depending on how many notes you have struck. Pardon the "selfless plug" but I did exactly what I think you're after in this environment: http://dawcontrol.com/product/smart_shorts/
  3. Yes, but the problem will show up on any other multi-channel instrument you use. I'm moving and have the whole studio packed down so I can't check at the moment. It has something to do with plugin compensation or automation.
  4. I've had this problem, it is a setting. Not in front of Logic atm but check your plugin latency compensation and automation settings. Can't remember what the problem was but its one of the "sync" settings, promise
  5. No, I have one called com.apple.logic.pro.cs which I believe Logic 10 also uses since all my surfaces work in 10 as they do in 9.
  6. Drag all three preference files to the desktop with Logic closed. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic10.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic10.LSSharedFileList ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs Launch Logic Pro X again. Strange, I only have the com.apple.logic10.plist file, not the other two. Anyway, it worked this time, thanks for your persistence (Oh, and there is some apple pie left Eric!)
  7. Glad you got it working, it didn't help on my end though... First, I didn't have the files: But I did have I deleted those and started Logic X and just got the: I can delete that one as many times as I want but the window is stuck under the menubar. Did you do anything else? Reboot? Make a sacrifice?
  8. I have the exact same problem, window stuck under the menubar. Emptying the above cache did not fix it. No virtualisation, only one 30" Cinema Display. Having the window open and changing screen resolution does not fix it either. Strange...
  9. Aaah, then I'm not stupid after all, could be good to know
  10. This is weird. If I go into Preferences -> Controller assignments and select V-Pots there are 8 User Modes available. I can even program them and use them, the Mackie even displays them. But, I just can't find a key-combo on the Mackie that takes me into mode 7 or 8. Very weird. All the manuals are silent about it as well. I'll see if there is some way to create a keyboard shortcut (or an internal fader-controller in the environment) to get Logic to select the 7 and 8 mode.
  11. So I just got a second hand Mackie Control and I'm just thrilled of the thing! A shame I waited so long... Anyhow, everything is working great but there is one thing I just can't figure out (or read for that matter). The user modes, I have no problem finding the first 6 of them, but how do I invoke u7 and u8?!? If one clicks to it from the controller assignments the display changes to "u7" or "u8" so they are there and are working. But how do I invoke them from the MCU?
  12. A bit late but nevertheless, I'm running the "latest" CME driver together with Mountain Lion. However, I need to start up the computer with the UF8 turned on and whatever you do, don't turn it off, then you'll need to restart the computer.
  13. This environment is now released. More info and download here: http://thomasmavian.com/smartscoring.html
