Update: Unitor 8 working well on Catalina. Just had to go into system preferences and allow the unitor plug-in to work.

Hi everyone! I just upgraded to Catalina, and my Unitor 8 drivers are not being recognized. Is anyone out there successfully using a Unitor 8 with Catalina? I saved a backup in time machine in case I need to revert back, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to use the device with my external synths. Thanks in advance for any help! Best, Max

Also, in logic, under synchronization, unitor tab, device firmware shows as not recognized.

Hello, I seem to be running into the same issue as I had before. Unitor 8 isn't transmitting midi data on all channels. The issue was resolved last time by using the unitor control app (thanks Ski and Fader8!), however, I am now on a different mac, and can't seem to find a working version of the app. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get the unitor up and running again? Any help would be most appreciated! Best, Max

Hi All, With the introduction of the midi fx in logic x, I am wondering if there is a way to route the midi fx date to external synths via another plugin, or using the midi environment? Any help would be much appreciated. Best, Max

Hi All, I'm trying to record an audio track>bus w/ i/o plugin looped through an apogee ensemble. I have a record enabled audio track and have set the input to the bus with the i/o fx. I'm not getting the fx on the track when recording. I searched the site but didn't come up with any hits. I am obviously missing something here. Any input would be much appreciated. And, hello logic peeps! Thanks!

Also, I opened 32 lives as a standalone, and resurrected the plugins I want to use. But they dont show in the AU validator Also tried logging out and back in from my user account.

Hi All, Was reading through this thread, and downloaded the trial of 32 lives. It downloads and installs alright, but when I go to logic x there is no validation and it doesn't show in the audio units manager. Anyone have any ideas, or could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Yes. Open Logic Pro > Preferences > Control Surfaces > Controller Assignments and look at the assignment. The Channel Strip parameter will either be set to "Selected Track" or to "Fader Bank" with a specific channel strip number: [attachment=1]Picture 2.png[/attachment] [attachment=0]Picture 3.png[/attachment] That was the fix, thank you David! Hello Atlas00seven, I do not show activity for the mentioned knobs or faders in the transport window. Although I do for the keys and other controls. In the environment, under clicks and ports I show the same issue. Working on the screen shot, on the laptop currently. Hi David, I will check on those settings now. This does make sense. If I did set them to a specific track, is there a way to tell? Also, is there a way to change it? Generally I have the track selected that I am setting the plugin's controller asignment to, so I think this must be what happened. Also, i loaded the plugin, to the same channel strip it was learned with. I feel that the other issue, is that now there is no midi info being recognized from the mpk in logic on the specific knobs and faders that were used for the learn assignments. Would trashing the plists, restarting logic, and then reloading the saved cs plist help?

Also, there is no midi being recognized at all from most of my MPK knobs and faders. It's linked via usb currently. I tried with a new cable just to be safe.When I reset the plists from my backup, all the learned assingments are showing in the controller assignment window, Just no movement.

Thanks for the reply David! By set the control surface to a plugin, I meant in the controller assignment window, I set the zone to my MPK 49 that I setup, and the mode to the plugin mode that I assigned for the plugin that I have open. Thanks! M
