  1. It is indeed very strange. I rarely use this keyboard, but my main one is packed away currently. And such a simple solution...makes me feel like such a noob (again πŸ˜‰ ) Really appreciate the help, man! Cheers πŸ™‚
  2. Hi! Wasn't sure where to post this, sorry. Further apologies 'cause it's likely not a LPX issue specifically. Been using my little Akai keyboard recently, while going through the long process of reinstalling computer. Seemingly had no issues so far. However, having installed Omnisphere I was getting no sound despite MIDI being received in LPX and Omni. I then noticed that within Omnisphere the MIDI was being received on Part 2 of Omnisphere. Up till that point all instruments played fine as MIDI Channel was set to all in Logic's inspector. However, when choosing the specific channels it is indeed being received on Channel 2. Been searching round and Googling but haven't found any way to obviously change the MIDI channel on the keyboard, and I'm guessing nothing an be done within Logic as it's just doing the receiving part. I'm probably missing something completely obvious, wight in front of my face, but I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers :)
  3. Thanks, David. But it seems to have already been marked as solved. Did you do it? And that guide is very well-timed. Already deactivated the iLk licenses and should have the rest all done and re-installed by the end of the weekend. Will check it out now. Cheers πŸ™‚
  4. It did indeed! Just wanted to come back and add my thanks to everyone here. It's not just Jordi who has been helpful over all these years. So, thanks to all...and Happy Holidays πŸŽ…πŸ»
  5. Ah, Jordi to my rescue...once again. Thanks so much. Β‘Que te vaya bien!
  6. Hi everyone. Gonna be reinstalling my Mac and would like to keep track of the presets I've favourited/starred in Alchemy. According to this article provided by Apple Support, ratings, comments, tags, and attributes are stored in the preset database file. However, I'm not sure where this is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers πŸ™‚
  7. Thanks. So sure i looked everywhere. Clearly not!
  8. If I'd just tried it... Sorry for asking redundant questions 😞 But thanks πŸ™‚
  9. Would love an inline channel-strip, personally. Just a click of a button on a mixer strip, to bring up a console-type EQ/Gate/Comp/Sat box/panel would be great. Even better if it could be pinned as an option, to be able to quickly move along tracks and be able to make quick tweaks.
  10. Ah, fantastic! Such a simple thing. An embarrassing mistake to make, given how long I've been with Logic (17 years?). Now i've ramped-up my production amount, I'm starting to notice how much of a workflow I DON'T have. Need to do something abut that. Just curious what would be the use-case for this behaviour? Also @David Nahmani Any info on the 'signature' question? Thanks πŸ™‚
  11. Yet another weird-and-wonderful (Yet likely easily solvable) issue I'm having. A little ways into a project, I decided to start naming my tracks and MIDI regions. Normally, I write the instrument details under 'Track', then copy/paste that to 'Region', and all the normally automatically-selected MIDI regions would take the name of the instrument. But in this project, for whatever reason, only half the tracks are working in the expected manner. On those that aren't, selecting the track down the left panel does not highlight the MIDI regions, nor can I rename them (They stay defaulted to "MIDI Defaults"). Im struggling to find any differences in the track info columns, apart from that the non-highlight-able tracks have the "Mute:" box slightly greyer. What am I missing? Thanks P.S. Can't find where to change my forum signature πŸ˜‰
  12. Thanks once again, everyone...for all your help. This was the track you helped me to save:
  13. Haha! Yeah...Sorry about that, David πŸ˜‰
