Automatically creating a sequence of assignments

Postby Macavity224 » Sat Aug 04, 2012 3:53 pm

I'm in the process of reassigning my faders/knobs on my midi keyboard, as my original set up got messed up somehow. I found out that if you make assignments for the first and last in a series ( for example, making an assignment for fader 1 and fader 8 ), Logic will ask you if you want it to automatically fill in the blanks. However, I can't seem to find this option. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks. :D

That used to work in 'Easy View.'

I know I used it not too long ago... probably on Logic Pro 9.1.0 and earlier. Haven't tried it in a while and I don't have a controller in this here hotel room.

Macavity, which version of Logic are you running? It would be great if you specified that in your signature... Forum Rules - please READ THIS before posting (#5)

At least for me, it seems that when I active the LEARN button, the easy view changes to expert view.
It won't allow me to select easy view at that point. As if to say "Ha, Ha, Ha, Shiver ... " :P

Shouldn't you be home with ...

Dog house or teaching/attending a seminar.

 teaching one in Dallas TX tomorrow: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=85883 ;)

PS: I used to make it work in expert view as well, so I don't think that's the issue.
