yes i can see the delay in ms in commas when i select the pull down menu.. but in Logic 9 you can select vie delay in ms where is that option gone to?

Sorry, I don't know what you mean?

I thought you said you were looking to set the display for the delay parameter in the track inspector...unless you mean something else by "track delay".

Where else you want to display milliseconds? be specific please.

yes correct. in Logic 9 you can select display delay in ms for the track inspector and input the delay in ms directly.

in logic X seems to be a trial error in ticks and then select pulldown menu and see if we have the right delay in ms. how do you display the delay in ms directly ms and not ticks?

yes that is what i'm looking for how do you select it to ms?

Just click the word "Delay" (which is actually a drop-down menu) in the track inspector and you'll be able to choose Milliseconds or Ticks.

ok found it there are 2 delays one is for the track and another for the region

The title of this thread says "track delay" so...

the track one you can change to ms but the region one you can only do in ticks

Just like in Logic 9...

Glad things are clear now.

You just set it to Milliseconds! No trial and error here:

Hi Jordi,

I don't see the delay option on audio tracks. I see it for audio regions but the only option is to display in ticks. How can I set the delay in milliseconds of an audio track?
