vondersulzburg
I have a MIDI-Instrument channel with the chord-trigger and then the arpeggiator in the midi-fx. Now I would like to record not the wave nor only the one Note I play on the keyboard but I would like to get all the midi notes created by that combination to be recorded in a separate channel as midi-notes. Is there a way to do this? Danke Michael
David Nahmani
You can drag and drop the MIDI sequence from the plug-in to the track by dragging the following button:
vondersulzburg
Hi David, thanks, but this only gives me the arpeggiator pattern, but not the arpeggiator behavior which depends on the chord created by the chorder and results in different notes created by the arpeggiator as a function of the actual chord. Is there no way to send the midi notes created by the arpeggiator to another track and record them there?
Eric Cardenas
Try this plug-in: Midi Plugins Freeze Scripter Script and Utility app
Jordi Torres
Try this plug-in: Midi Plugins Freeze Scripter Script and Utility app That's the Scripter plug-in script which required an additional MIDI helper app, the actual Audio Unit plug-in is here: http://www.audiocr.com/index.php J. vondersulzburg
Hi Danke, I was on the right way. Found the scripter and there the midimonitor which gave me the right notes and velocities but no idea how to bring it to a track. Wouldn't this be great if logic has this build in? Will try you advices tomorrow. Have to stand up early and now it is time to sleep. Michael
Jordi Torres
The AudioCR MIDI FX Freeze Audio Unit is the best way to do what you want at this point...and it's free. J.
vondersulzburg
Hi thanks again. This tool works really great and gives me all the possibilities I need to capture my arpeggiated IDEAS and all other midi mods are just recorded and can be used in many ways. Daggilarr
The Midi FX Freeze appears to no longer be available, I had it and it said beta expired so I went to get an updated version and the site takes me to a "this page can't be found" does this mean this no longer exists, or is this a glitch in the site. Any ideas anyone?
Jordi Torres
I have the latest (1.0.1) version and it still works. Sounds like you never updated from the beta version? However, the download link to the latest version is not currently working, like you say. Maybe a temporary thing? Try posting in this thread to see if the developer (forum member "jendakub") can tell you anything about it: viewtopic.php?t=101339 J. Daggilarr
No word from the developer or from the site, looks like its gone, none of the links in the site seem to work. Anyone got any ideas on how I could get a working version ?
Jordi Torres
Did you try contacting him through the support form? It does look like he's not working anymore on "MIDI FX Freeze" or "Capture MIDI". The second one is not even on the App Store any longer. Worst case scenario you could try to reach him through his other site: http://www.cocoajsoneditor.com/ J.
