Jay Denson
Is there a way to turn Midi Draw data on and off? I have drawn pitch bend and modulation in the piano roll. I’m not sure if I like it but I don’t want to undo all the effort spent in entering the data until I’m sure I don’t want it any more. Eric Cardenas
The easiest thing would probably be to turn off the pitch bend response on the instrument itself. What instrument are you automating?
Jay Denson
Hi Eric It's just the Legacy (Garage Band) saxes. What is needed is an on/off switch each CC data track. And then it would be useful. Thanks for your help. Jay
Eric Cardenas
I get what you want but there isn't a Mute button for MIDI events. You can Transform these events to something else to keep the MIDI events without affecting your performance. but I have two other suggestions. The garageband instruments are just disguised versions of the EXS24. If you open the EXS24 "in place" of the Garageband instrument you will be able to access the Pitch Bend and turn it off. You can do the same for Mod-wheel in the Modulation Matrix. Another cool thing you could try is to insert a Modifier MIDI FX. Set Input Event to Pitch Bend and Re-Assign To Off. Repeat for Mod-wheel.
