gwales
This is better in a new thread. You can see an audio track is recording at the same time as the drum part I'm playing in. Obviously, this is not what I want. I tried everything I could think of, but as I'm still fairly new to LPX, it's feels like a waste of time. I don't even know what I'm looking for. I'm hoping someone will point out a simple solution or reason, as they did with my first problem. http://i62.tinypic.com/npjihg.jpg
CCTMusic
Hi Turn off the Record Ready ® button on the audio track? CCT
gwales
Hi Turn off the Record Ready ® button on the audio track? CCT I thought that may have been the case. I didn't catch the track status, because of the weird resizing thing I've been having in this forum, but I encountered the same problem today. Maybe this tinypic type is better - "Direct Link for Layouts" http://i58.tinypic.com/2n18j6a.png OK - try this: http://i58.tinypic.com/2n18j6a.png See the problem here? I lose some of the image when I use the /img code. Anyway, you can see the recording is on the wrong track. Also notice the editor track is set to the Electric Piano instrument I was using. Shouldn't it follow my track selection?
Eric Cardenas
You can use the attach files function on this forum instead of using an external image provider. Anyway, If you'd like you can attach the project to this thread and I'll take a look at it. Click this link to your signature and add your system information: • Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.6) • OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.9.2) • Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac) • Processor (e.g. 2.2 GHz Intel i7) • Memory (e.g. 8GB) • Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. RME Babyface) (most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and > About This Mac)
gwales
Thanks - I'll post that same screenshot as a test. Do you guys enable tampermonkey or similar to allow widescreen mode for the forum layout? I definitely should get more RAM.
Eric Cardenas
Your screen shot works fine. It looks like you are using summing stacks. I believe you have a better chance to get this sorted if you attach a zipped version of your project here.
gwales
Ok. I'll do that tomorrow. I have a workaround now where I randomly click the 'R' and 'I' buttons on other channels then return to the one I want. That seems to break the link.
