Strange GUI behaviour

Hey Guys. I recently installed the "Critical Update" to 10.9.2 and now all of a sudden I am getting this

 

 

Anyone have this happen to them? If so How do I fix it?

Is this happening with only Logic open or do you have more software open? Does it also happen if you reboot the Mac and only open Logic?

 

I see a lot of this happening on an older Mac that only has 2 GB of RAM. I'm guessing that for you it could also be due to a lack of RAM (4GB is not much), and those issues become worse when you open multiple software simultaneously.

It only happens in logic and that is the only program I'm running. Weirdly it only just started today. I'm aware that 4 isn't a whole lot of ram wish I could afford to get some more. It's happened to every project I've opened today. I also tried a reboot and trashing the prefs.

Not seeing that on my 2007 imac with 2Gb after 10.9.2 upgrade.

reinstall logic? run disk first aid? repair permissions? you can CALL apple too, if need be, they have an Applications support team, and they're pretty good....

or you could try to download a standalone 10.9.2 update and try to run it again (and/or perhaps the last critical update too). I remember sometimes it would fix things for me back in the day when something went wrong.
