Davidabb
Hi everyone, I want to drag all of my tracks in the arrange window and I want everything to move with it, Automation and tempo changes. How can I drag EVERYTHING? Example--My song starts on measure 3 because of count ins, etc…I now want to split the tracks, delete the count in stuff and drag the tracks to 1 1 1 1. I want the tempo map to basically be "locked" to tracks. Thanks! David
Nola111
If I understand correctly, you don't really need to drag everything, you just need to use the Cut Section Between Locators function to delete the first two measures and automatically shift everything to the left. Highlight the first two measures with your locators, then it's under Edit -> Cut/Insert Time -> Cut Section Between Locators.

Blue Monkey
My song starts on measure 3 because of count ins, etc…I now want to split the tracks, delete the count in stuff and drag the tracks to 1 1 1 1. Bad idea to start your tracks at 1111. This is a known problem in Logic. Strange things can occur when starting at 1111. Best to start your tracks at 2111. Good thing is that you can fix that same as you fixed your initial concern. Just set your locators appropriately and choose Edit>Cut/Insert Time>Insert Silence Between Locators to move the beginning of your song to 2111.
