Johnny-Boy
I've asked this question in the past, but never got an answer. I also found an old topic with the same question from another Logic 8 user - with no answer. Anyway, here's the question... When I drag an audio wav file into a new Logic Pro 8 project the tempo always slows down. Is this a known problem with Logic Pro 8? This happens even if the wav file originated from a Logic Pro 8 project. This makes collaboration with other Logic users impossible. Second related question... if I upgrade to Logic Pro 9 will this tempo issue be resolved. And will I still be able to access my Logic Pro 8 projects through Logic Pro 9. Thanks for your help. David Nahmani
When I drag an audio wav file into a new Logic Pro 8 project the tempo always slows down. Is this a known problem with Logic Pro 8? No. Check the sample rate of the file (in the Bin) and the sample rate of the project (under File > Project Settings > Audio) and make sure both are the same. If they're not, change the project's sample rate to match the sample rate of the file.
