lip5016
hey guys, so this is super annoying .. i love how in logic X, it remembers the last "actions" which were accessed from the menu in the arrange window (such as Bounce in place, unpack folders to existing tracks, etc.).. it's a bit frustrating that there isn't something like this for plugins.. i find myself wasting a good deal of time when i have to add 3-4 plugins on each track, which most of the time, end up being the same or similar plugins on all of them (such as saturation, eq, compression).. it gets to be a real hassle and time waster to have to navigate thru all the tiers in the plugin list to be able to load up an instance every time .. i was hoping to see if there's any sort of way to maybe enable some sort of hot keys or anything that would make this process quicker.. maybe something like a hotkey that i can assign so that when i press it, it will insert my assigned EQ plugin, or my assigned saturation plugin, etc.. just something to reduce the amount of "busy work" necessary.. is there anything like this? thanks! Eric Cardenas
Try saving your favourite signal chains of plug-ins as a perch or channel strip setting. You can then insert them all at once from the menu or in the case of channel strip settings you can save them as a performance and use a program change to insert them. JonathanRace
For tracks where I know I want the same plugins I'll usually make a 'template' midi or audio track that I leave blank. Any time in the project I need to add a new channel I just go a duplicate that track and go from there, helps me out a lot anyway
