itash
Hi, I just got my hands on a bunch of old files from a band I recorded with a few years back. The drums were recorded with Addictive Drums through a Roland digital kit. I don't have Addictive drums nowadays, and when I listen to the files now the MIDI assignment triggers the wrong sounds in the built in drum kits in Logic. Is there an easy way to reassign the MIDI mapping for these tracks? I cannot find it, and I don't want to have to change every single note by hand... Help would be highly appreciated! Eric Cardenas
I'm glad you solved your problem. Care to enlighten us on how you did that?
itash
Indeed! I went into the environment and created a mapped instrument, in which I reassigned the sounds to fit the MIDI recording, and then connected this instrument to the drum track. I found other topics in this forum that helped me understand how to do it. See here, for instance: http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=61685&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=
