Logic Pro 9 - Channel Strip Settings for Loops [SOLVED]

I have your Logic Pro 9 book and am following the instructions as outlined on pg 21 for 'Starting a Project with Apple Loops'. My problem as of this afternoon is that when I drag a loop from the loop browser onto the arrange area, Logic is not loading the necessary channel strip settings to the track. It was doing it yesterday. I haven't made any changes in the settings. I've closed/re-opened Logic, and restarted my computer. The The practice project I was working on (as outlined in your book) is still there and saved properly. I also opened that project and dragged a loop onto a new track with the same results. What could be wrong? HELP!!! I'm frustrated. All I did was save my work, properly shut down the computer and go to bed. Thanks for your help. The book is great!!!

Sounds like something has gone awry somewhere... I would try to delete the Logic preferences and start over. To delete the preferences, quit Logic, go to your-Mac-HD/Library/Preferences/ and delete the com.logic.pro.plist file and start Logic again.

Well the closest thing to that file is: com.apple.RegLogicStudio.plist. Isn't that a registration file of some sort or is that it?

Make sure you look in your user library: hold Option as you choose Go > Library from the main menu in the Finder.

Thanks so much David! I had to go to the Logic Pro troubleshooting on the apple site to make sure I was doing it right (see link: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2375), followed the bouncing ball and, voila!!! Success. Back to composing!!! Stay blessed, My Brotha!!!
