frenzybaby85
I'm trying to put 'reverse' on a piece of audio no functions button
robinloops
I haven't had this problem but in the past I have had similar issues (not remembering a user setting) and trashing my prefs cured the problem...
David Nahmani
Make sure you're in the Audio FILE editor (File tab at the top of the editor). If you can't see Track/File tabs at the top of the Audio editor, then first go to Logic Pro X > Preferences > Advanced Tools and select Show Advanced Tools then Audio. mattrixx
Hi David, Whilst we're on this topic. Do you know of any way to have the audio editor to default to "File" when double clicking an audio region in the arrange window? (as per the old behaviour before "Track" was added in LPX). regards, Matt

No, I don't think it's possible. Apparently it opens in the latest editor you used.
mattrixx
Thanks anyway. It's always defaulting to file here!
David Nahmani
Do you mean it's always defaulting to "Track" for you? What I meant is, if you double-click an audio region and switch to "File", then close the editor and double-click another audio region, it opens in the "File" editor, right? mattrixx
Yes David, until I recall the screen set.
David Nahmani
Ok just gave it a try here and my screenset remembers that I want the "File" editor to open - as long as it was the last one I used. If you're not saving your project ... then at least try using locked screensets where you opened the File editor last, it should work? mattrixx
Indeed, I just tried it on my new MacPro and it does behave lil that. On my old MacPro (Jan2008 3,1 8Core) and MacbooPro 2012, it doesn't seem to work. Weird! Any way, I suppose I better update my sig to reflect the new system!
