Quick Question about new plug-ins GUI functionality

Hi guys,

I'm using both 9 and X at the moment and trying to get a grasp on X.

Though I've experienced quite a few bugs and glitches, there's a lot to like about X, the learning curve isn't that bad in spite o the new shortcuts, and it seems like most of the stuff I use is still there, though sometimes in a different menu or such.

One thing which does seem to have been removed is the ability to navigate through inserted plug-ins via a drop down menu in the corner of the plug-in GUI, which even allowed you to quickly go to the next channel's inserts and such. It's something I used quite regularly.

Or is there some sub-menu preference which I need to check?

That option is gone from the plug-in window bezel.

Here's an alternative workflow:

Enable the link (purple) button on a plug-in window. Single click a plug-in on its slot in the channel strip to see its GUI.

Of course, it means you need to have your channel strips visible (mixer or inspector), but in my opinion beats navigating menus any day of the week.
