Eric Cardenas
Hi and welcome to Logic Pro Help. We need to know more about your system. Click this link to your signature and add your system information: • Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.0.7) • OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS 10.9.4) • Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac) • Processor (e.g. 2.2 GHz Intel i7) • Memory (e.g. 8GB) • Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. RME Babyface) (most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and > About This Mac)

Eric Cardenas
Thanks for updating your signature. Is this happening on a specific project? Have you tried creating a new empty project and inserting/removing a plug-in?
SideBMusic
What buffer settings are you using?
VancityDJ
It seems to be happening in the projects that began in Logic 9 and have been opened in Logic 10, my buffer size is at its highest (1024) because anything less leaves me with clipping and/or the dreaded system overload message. I personally think it has to do with the fact that my macbook is a late 2008 model which in todays world is pretty old, even though I recently put in an SSD, and/or I don't have enough RAM to process/multitask enough, but I'll leave that to you guys...any other suggestions? Eric Cardenas
My suggestion is to use the selective import function to import your old projects into a new blank Logic Pro X canvas. Create a new Empty project and open the All Files browser. Navigate to your source project and double-click on its project file. Select all the tracks you want to import and all the attributes. (Command-A followed by the right arrow key) Import and save. Now try to see if it works.
