mitkroy
Back in the days of Logic 7 there was a very neat way to create a marker whereby you just dragged a cycle selection downwards. Is there any way to do anything like that in LPX? The best way I’ve found to replicate this is key command for. ‘create marker for selected region’ - shift alt ‘ But that's a three step process - I have to create a region, trim it to the same length as the cycle then hit the KC.. whereismymind
Hi, It is still possible to do it in Logic Pro X, you just have to press Option on your keyboard before you drag the cycle selection down.
David Nahmani
You only have to hold down Option if there's already a marker present within the cycle area. Otherwise, just dragging the cycle area down into the Marker track creates a marker as in Logic 7.
