Darude
I did take a look in the manual, but didn't find how to solve this problem of mine: I've brought some drumloops to Logic, then when I zoom all the way out it's REALLY damn difficult sometimes to grab the loops because it has these pulldown menu thingy's (?) and it just tells me "No related loops found." eventhough I'm not looking for them... Can this feature be disabled? You need to be really really careful to place your mouse pointer to some specific point (or zoom in, so there's more room) to grab & move the region, which takes time and several clicks very often. "No related loops found."
Jordi Torres
Hi, Can this feature be disabled? To work around this annoying side effect of this feature, you need to rename the audio file (or a copy of file) so that it is not seen by Logic as a member of a group (or "family") of files/loops. J. Darude
Ok, so no, not really a feasible thing to do. Grrrh. Thanks for the response, J!
Jordi Torres
You're welcome, but why ins't it feasible? Just control-click the region and choose Convert > Region to New Audio File and change the name to something that does not include a number. J. Darude
Say starting a track and for inspiration going thru a 100 Vengeance loops that originate in their own folder in the main Vengeance folder on my Samples drive... I definitely won't be making copies of them somewhere and changing all their names. For a single file, maybe 2 or 5, yes, but otherwise not really feasible (for me). Thanks again!
