Karolryba007
Ive never seen one in Logic pro X. In logic pro 9 Low cut filter was there. To add to this i managed to find a low cut filter on my master track, any ideas how i can get it on singular tracks? Many thanks

David Nahmani
They're both still there. Hold Option-Shift when clicking the Audio FX insert.

Karolryba007
I still don't have it
David Nahmani
You need to hold Option Shift before you click. PS: Please do not PM follow ups, instead, post them in the thread so anyone with a similar issue in the future can see the solution! Thanks. recordplay
Working for me!
David Nahmani
Yes it should work for anyone: my guess is, Karolryba007 isn't holding Option-Shift before clicking the insert because I don't even see the Mono and Mono -> Stereo options in the top menu on her/his screenshot. Eric Cardenas
Option is enough, you don't need to add the shift key. I believe Option-Shift is the Mono/Stereo modifier.
David Nahmani
Option alone is another way to go to them through the Legacy folder - not exactly the same looking menu but it allows you to see both the current and the legacy plug-ins. Shift alone is the stereo/mono modifier.
recordplay
Alt just brings up the legacy plugs for me in which I can get at the silver comp I was mainly after the Low Cut like OP Karolryba007 this only pops up with Shift+Alt Such an awesome tip chaps. thanks
Eric Cardenas
Shift alone is the stereo/mono modifier. Ahh... So Shift does the trick! I had totally forgot. It's a pretty handy modifier.
David Nahmani
Actually Option-Shift is more flexible: it allows you to use a mono-input plug-in after a stereo-output plug-in, which Shift alone doesn't. It depends what you're trying to do.... gotta keep experimenting with all those modifiers!
Eric Cardenas
Actually Option-Shift is more flexible: it allows you to use a mono-input plug-in after a stereo-output plug-in So, I did remember correctly after all. Shift-Option gives you the option to change Mono to Stereo or Stereo to Mono. Shift will only work on Mono tracks.
Eriksimon
Anyway, the alternative for low cut is the single band EQ.
