leeguirado
Is there a way i can bypass the side chain of the compressor at a certain point? without having to take away the other settings of the compressor. i want to keep the compressor on but just remove the side chaining. Eric Cardenas
Mute the key signal that is feeding the external sidechain.
David Nahmani
I wonder what you're trying to do though exactly? I believe that if you explain the ultimate goal we can (maybe?) share a more elegant solution...

Yes, if you're using a ghost side chain that's the advantage, you can customize the ghost side chain to only trigger the compressor when you want it to. Eric Cardenas
Exactly. You can custom tailor your key signal to how you want the external sound chain to behave by muting/deleting and also changing it's gain or timing for other results.
