The "break" effect

Postby PjHagen » Mon Jul 16, 2012 1:16 pm

Hi, I'm quite new to Logic, but lately I feel I've been getting the hang of it.

Anyway, I just started making som electro house music, and I wondered if anyone know how to find the "break" effect?

I found something like the one I'm trying to find in this YouTube clip (At about 1:15 you hear the "break" as I call it, the one that kinda slows the different sounds down at the end)

I'd appreciate any help I can get, and I sincerely hope this isn't one of the traditional newbie questions :P

You can use speed fades for this.
Just write a regular fade and then Control - Click on it and choose slow down.
